Each player chooses a color and places their four pawns in the corresponding home base.
2. Rolling the Die:
Players take turns rolling a die. The player with the highest roll goes first, and play proceeds clockwise.
3. Entering a Pawn:
To move a pawn out of the base and onto the starting square, a player must roll a six.
4. Moving Pawns:
Once a pawn is in play, players move it clockwise around the board the number of spaces indicated by the die roll.
5. Rolling a Six:
Rolling a six allows the player to either move a pawn out of the base or move a pawn already in play, and the player gets another roll.
6. Three Sixes:
If a player rolls three sixes in a row, the turn ends.
7. Capturing Pawns:
If a pawn lands on a space occupied by an opponent's pawn, the opponent's pawn is sent back to its base.
8. Home Column and Triangle:
When a pawn completes a circuit of the board, it moves up its corresponding home column. A pawn can only enter the home triangle with an exact die roll.
9. Winning:
The first player to move all four of their pawns into their home triangle wins the game.
10. Blocking:
If a pawn lands on a space occupied by one of the player's other pawns, that space becomes blocked, and no other pawn can move onto it.
